Soccer Camps
Soccer Camps
Each year as summer get's closer many parents start looking for camps for their players to attend. It can be very difficult to find just the right camp for your son or daughter. Many times the hard part is finding the exact fit for their ability. The right fit between fun and pure soccer learning. There is a huge number of soccer camps ranging from one day to as long as 3 weeks to a month.
This isn't a complete list of camps and honestly we are not even recommending these particular camps per say. We just thought we'd give a small list of camps for the parents and players to decide if any of them fit your needs. This list of camps are extended stay camps. All of them offer staying overnight in dorms, food, soccer training, and other soccer related activities. All of them have numorous years of experience and quality staffs.
There are more camps out there and we'd really enjoy input and names from people who read this article and know about other extended stay style soccer camps. Our list is made up of six camps, all locally held but two of them national names that come into the state and hold camps. We will begin with the two nation wide camps and then touch on the four local names.

After 40 years of doing camps, their reputation attracts players to their programs who are more serious and have a higher standard of play. That, in itself, makes a more challenging program.
The Vogelsinger All Star Soccer School is the only one-week camp that still offers 7 action-packed days with a choice of program, the camper chooses which style of camp they'd like to attend.

WPS is providing this information as a helper to parents looking for an extended stay style camp. We are not trying to recommend any of them, however we do believe for many younger and older players camps can be a good thing. We understand they are not for everyone, so know your child, and pick a proper fit. This is simply meant to help parents find some of their camp options easier.
Hope it helps
