We have 8 to 10 inches and it is snowing again this morning. We live right by the Narrows bridge on the Tacoma side.

About a foot.

This is in our backyard. The dog is walking on TOP of the snow. If she sunk... you would not see her!

Great idea.  Easier to spot in a 30-06 scope.  Grin
Also easier for eagles to spot from high up in a tree. Tongue

Central Oregon at our house about 10 inches and around 8* outside the best think is we can drive around on the snow.  None of the that ice, freezing rain stuff.   We are suppose to get snow for the next 7 days or so.  In our small town the city worker even goes down our alley to clean the snow for us.

Around 10 inches in Cowtown.  If I had thought about it I would have taken a picture of a cow on the way into work this morning. Smiley

MA, I LOVE your doggie's clothes.  I don't have a tiny dog, but if I did....I'd dress him/her just like that! Grin

I havn't heard yet today but I know we have added to some of these totals, but according to the news last night these were some of the totals:
Vancouver: 9 inches
Portland: 10 inches
Camas: 17 inches

They also said we should have added abbout 3 inches after last night, so you can add that to those totals by the end of the day.

Now this is what I call a snow day.  Just coming off of a six day weekend on the Island!  Been on paid leave since Wednesday morning last week, today is our first day back!

Here's another along the beach.

Out the back side of our subdivision, looking into the island.

My pics that I posted on another forum....we had 10 inches on the ground by Sunday and got another four inches overnight Sunday/Monday...total is around 14 inches (my rain gauge filled up to nearly 24 inches).

LOL
this is from KOMO news weather
I'd say we're waving the white flag of surrender to Mother Nature, but it'd just blend into the background anyway.
The longest stretch of snow in several decades figures to extend a bit longer through Christmas Day now as another storm coming in Wednesday figures to add a few more inches to our already impressive snow totals.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for many areas, with a lesser Winter Weather Advisory in effect for the main Seattle-Tacoma area. (I know many were dreaming of a White Christmas, but can we switch to sugar plums or something else now?)

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2008551284_snowcleanup23m.html

The City of Seattle is ostensibly being "ecofriendly" by not salting the streets and using an ineffective snow plow system to spare potential damage to streets.  So even the cops are bagging it.

And the funniest thing about it is that some sources say that the use of sand instead of salt is damaging to the enviroment!   Leave it to the city of Seattle to screw even their "good intentions" up.   So they punish the citizens and for no good result.   Typical.  Something only a Cali would endorse.  Reminds me of when the City Council wanted to have the damns in the Columbia Basin torn out but no one should ever dare touch the Ballard locks...........

Well how often do we get a stretch of snow like this?  The last time this amount of snow fell in the Seattle area was in 1990.  It's not like Seattle has to battle this stuff every year.  At least the Freeways are in good shape.  Props for something good, but a BIG thumbs down for all the side streets.

Had 17 inches accumulated as of Monday on the picnic table on my patio in Mount Vernon. But with Wednesday's warmer temperatures, only about 8 or 9 inches is left!
