Probably better now than in 3 yrs from now when your tastes go from ground beef ( this car ) to filet mignon ( your dream car )   Grin

my first car, paid $5 (pmts mind you, $1 a week) 850 cc, rear engine, French built. Had a blast in it. Would go anywhere, just not quickly. Probably got 35 mpg, not that I cared w/gas at .27 a gallon. Had a blown head gasket. My dad came home one day to find parts scattered all over the driveway. He shook his head and said something to the effect of; "it'll never run again". I told him that was OK cause it didn't run when I bought it. But after I saved up $8 for a head gasket I got it back together and was bombing all over the neighborhood at 14 yrs old.

Once I got my license and was 'official' I got a real car.

Two things.

First of all, Brat, don't make fun of Ken for showing us what he drove.  Until a decade ago, I had worse that I drove.  OK, some people would consider one of my pick-ups worse still.........

And second.
Ken, How the Heck did you have a car over here with French Liscense Plates?   that has to be a story in itself!
