I just wanted to give a big "Way to Represent!!!" to our 3 Rivers SC 93 Boys for making it to the Semi-Finals in the BU16 Championship Cup.

Ah, but they are still not good enough to be considered worthy of playing in the PDL, are they?

Seriously, the Coach - Mike Pardini - and the boys did a great job this year.

So why isn't the Three Rivers club in the PDL/RCL?

So why isn't the Three Rivers club in the PDL/RCL?

1)  Eastern Washington
2)  Association is relatively small - circa 2,600 players
3)  Results have not been good enough
4)  Coming from Eastern Washington, there is a great disincentive to participate in state cups.  Ergo, not much in the way of PDL points.
5)  Unstable local leadership
6)  Recruitment of our top players by Seattle area clubs.  (And recently by Yakima, which is in the PDL/RCL).
7)  It's more fun to shoot ourselves in the foot than to put together a successful program.

Where is this Eastern Washington you keep mentioning -- is that like Issaquah or something?  Can't think of anyplace any Easter...Grin

Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day.

The older I get, the faster I was
