Tax day is one of those times of the year that I look around and think government is big, bloated, and not working much for me or for that matter most americans.

At what point do all of us stand up and say enough. I don't mind paying a fair share but I think it's time the government as a whole work within a budget because in the REAL world that's what they expect of ALL of US

So today I just want to say......  F' Taxes

I know, I know, it is MSNBC but I saw a similar article yesterday. Very strange that the earmark numbers supposedly skyrocketed during Bush's term when Reps controlled the Congress. Don't know if it is true. Exxon Mobile making our foreign policy for us is a much bigger issue but we won't talk about the real issue so...... drinks

By the way, when I was a kid I used to see all these signs in trips across the country with my folks that said -- to my kid eyes -- "Your Highway Texas at Work".

I never could figure out what Texas was building all those roads all over the country....

We moved into our 1st owned home on tax day.  It was a good day six years ago!  Albeit on a military salary, so I guess the gov made that possible....
