Doyle's pub in Tacoma on Friday, the 11th, and maybe the 12th for the USA/Eggland (dufferism) match. Have taken days off from work and then some for these matches. Oh, the agony and ecstasy...Go USA!!!

From home! I am seriously going to take the morning off for this, and cook up a great Mexican buffet style breakfast for the family. If my son and brother don't have anything major going on at school, my mom and I are going to ask they be excused for a little bit in the morning.

I have Spain, Netherlands, and USA jerseys, and will be wearing whichever is appropriate for whichever game that I am watching (If I can steal them back from the kids...........  ) I will be watching at home or at work (have a set up already in place for the big event, will be taken down afterwards). I already have a do not disturb notice to hang up on my door! |

Here is the problem I face. Wifey signed us up months ago for a bike race on June 12. I tried to be strong and tell her that I'm watching soccer but she tells me that she found someone to tape the game. That ain't good enough -- going to tell wifey that I'm watching the game in real time. Wish me luck or .... not.... |
