I was told that they released a couple of players up front that weren't performing about a month ago. Brought in some of the players from the U18's I think. They have 3 U18's on the roster.

If they only have 2 U18's on the roster then they are the oldest team there. Most teams are made up of U19 and below. Mexico has a U16 player on the team or 15 year old.

But what does that have to do with the age of the players? I guess I am not following- The point I was trying to make to Edson was that all teams have players that are young, whether they are American, Mexican, Ghanan , German, etc. With that said, the US should kill the Swiss tomorrow

Yes. The U.S. did kill the Swiss. Sydney LeRoux got a Hat Trick against Switzerland and went on to a 5-0 win and 4 points in our group. We face S. Korea next (7/21/2010). Highlights of the match: http://www.WPSsoccersite.net

July 21, 2010: Sydney LeRoux scored in the 21st minute for the United States and her team hung on to that lead until the final whistle. The U.S. finish at the top of Group D play with seven (7) points, and will face Nigeria in Augsburg, Germany on July 25, 2010 in quarter-final play. http://www.WPSsoccersite.net
