US Club Soccer Leagues in WA State

March 6, 2008) -- US Club Soccer announced today that it has reached a sanctioning agreement with two new competitive leagues in the state of Washington:  the Puget Sound Premier League and the Inland Premier Soccer League.

The Puget Sound Premier League is located in Western Washington and draws teams from the Puget Sound area. The Inland Premier Soccer league is composed of teams and clubs from Eastern Washington.  Both of these new leagues will begin league play this spring with U10 through U13 age groups.

“The Washington clubs have shown great support with US Club Soccer in the National Cup and this past year with the inaugural Washington Cup. We look forward to continuing to support the clubs of Washington with these two new leagues,” said US Club Executive Bill Sage.

It would be kind of cool to see the winner of the Eastern WA league and the winner of the Western WA league play against each other at the end of the Spring season!

I believe that has already been discussed, and will likely happen.

Lots of coaches already have.  Here are some of the clubs that are participating.......

Mount Rainier FC
South Sound FC
Westsound FC
Synergy FC
Greater Renton FC
FC Crush Academy
Issaquah Soccer Club FC
Shoreline
Tyncastle FC
Ballard/Saprissa
Colibri
Cascade FC
Pumas de la UNAM
South Hill Revolution

In eastern Washington, Spokane SC, River City, 3 Rivers, and CB United.  Shadow, Wen Fire, and Sun City on the bubble.

Discussions pending on "cross over" games.

My understanding is that these leagues are TEAM based, not CLUB based.
