DD finds out tomorrow if she can get her braces off before school starts!! :shock: She's been drivin' me nuts all week!! :x Price of braces: I don't want to talk about it Price of gas to get her to ortho appts: a bazillion dollars Getting braces off before school starts and taking freshman picture without them ...for dd...priceless!! That is good that she might get them off and talked to my mom about the price of mine I do not think that she likes it so much lol!!! But the ortho place is right by r house so not as much gas!!! You are absolutely right about the smile under the braces Chocolate Drop!! Don't tell her, but I can't wait to see her teeth without the braces too!! Now she'll look a little like me....if only in the teeth area!! Oh btw Chocolate Drop... you're grounded!!! :twisted: Ixnay on the driving-ay, alright!! :roll: As it is, dd can't drive until her junior year, anyway!! Hehehe!! She's NEVER driving if I have anything to do with it!!! When you leave our house, you turn right and the school is right down the street...you can't miss it!! She can WALK... its about 3 miles but she's in good shape!! :lol: |

well school is kinda slow on handing things out the only thing i really know about next year is where my school is it is new to me and i dont like he was it looks. i havent got my scheduel or my bus number or my school supplies list. it is annoying :|

UPDATE: I have good news and bad news... The good news is the orthodontist said its time to take the braces off!! Yeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! She even tried to see if there was time TODAY to do dd's casts (for the retainers) and then have them off on the 29th... :shock: The bad news is....dd's life officially SUCKS!! :lol: They're so booked dd can't even get the casts done until the 29th AND she doesn't get the braces off until 9/12!!! :cry: Oh well, she waited this long...what's another month (she just figured that out)!!!  |

DD spent 4 hours at Freshman Orientation this morning and came back bouncing off the walls!! I think she's starting to get excited now!! DD said its a good thing she's in shape because some of her classes are really far apart!!  Thank goodness for soccer!! LOL |

DD might be somewhere in the middle for the poll...she missed the last day of school because her team was at the airport going to Cali. She was really busy with tournaments and soccer clinics so the summer went really fast for her. She's really excited about playing soccer for her high school, but the school part....no so much. But she better get over it...

DD was up at 5:30 this morning getting ready for her first day of high school!! Older dd said Speeddemon was pacing back and forth in front of their bathroom because she was really nervous. Older dd thought that was pretty funny...she's so mean. When I dropped them off this morning, Speeddemon looked like she was going to throw up, which REALLY cracked her big sis up!! Big sis seeing that her baby sister was obviously REALLY nervous, said as they walked away (with a big sigh and as comforting as she could possibly be)..."Don't be nervous. You'll be fiiiine." It was so sweet and such a switch from how she USUALLY talks to her lil sis...I actually got a little choaked up!! |

Older brothers have 2 yrs + on me so I went to Jr High and my start of HS without either of them there. I loved the start of school. New clothes, new pens and pencils the whole bit! |
